test on a paddle trainer

A basic two-hour examination focused on performance sports and hobby athletes is used to set training zones and intensities, and can determine the further direction of sports training and optimal nutrition. This is a non-medical examination.

Examples of possible test types:

Stress test for setting training zones:

We will determine your actual training zones and classify them according to your habits, Borg's RPE scale, watt zones, heart rate, or a combination of these.

Maximum oxygen consumption stress test – VO2max:

Probably the best-known and most popular test among athletes. It allows you to find out the maximum amount of oxygen your body consumes during exercise.

Fat Max stress test – examination of the level of work with fats and lactate:

The ability to work with fats is an important part of performance, and this test provides answers on how you are doing.

The test includes:

  • detailed sports, training and nutritional history

  • assessment of breathing stereotypes

  • resting spirometry examination

  • performance-oriented individual exercise spiroergometric test (trainers: cycling, rowing, paddling, airbike, running)

  • monitoring of metabolic functions and ventilation parameters

Finally, we will give you specific recommendations on how to adjust your training load, including individual training zones.

Suitable for both professional and amateur athletes.

If you are over 35 years old, it is necessary to undergo an examination by a physical education doctor (SPORT 2) before the program due to possible health risks.

Duration: approx. 2 hours.

Price: 6,000 CZK

Physiology 1

treadmill test

The four-hour examination examines four basic physiological limitations of performance: respiratory = breathing mechanics, respiratory muscle fatigue; circulatory = reduced stroke volume at high intensities; metabolic = inefficient use of energy sources during performance (fats, carbohydrates, lactate); muscular = insufficient peripheral blood circulation in the muscle. It is ideal to have a trainer present during the examination, after which a framework training plan will be created. This is a non-medical examination.

The test includes:

  • detailed sports, training and nutritional history

  • assessment of breathing stereotypes

  • resting spirometry examination

  • performance-oriented individual exercise spiroergometric test (trainers: cycling, rowing, paddling, airbike, running)

  • monitoring of metabolic functions and ventilation parameters

  • measurement of cardiac output during exercise

Finally, we will give you specific recommendations on how to adjust your training load, including individual training zones.

Suitable for both professional and amateur athletes.

Duration: approx. 4 hours.

Price: 12,000 CZK

Physiology 2

total hemoglobin mass

A unique test for endurance athletes that no one else offers in the Czech Republic. The method developed in cooperation with experts from the University of Bayreuth will accurately measure the total amount of hemoglobin in the blood, and therefore the blood's ability to transport oxygen, and thus assess the effectiveness of high-altitude training.

Suitable for endurance athletes.

Price: 5,000 CZK

THB mass

FEN

A globally unique individualized training system, developed and patented in collaboration with the ETH Zurich University and Mgr. Květa Benediktová. It is used to teach the correct breathing pattern and coordination of the respiratory muscles under load so that ventilation is more effective.

Suitable for both professional and amateur athletes.

Duration: approx. 1 hour.

Price: 2,500 CZK

test

Initial examination of the ability to produce energy during strength performance using the GymAware linear position sensor and tensile dynamometer, based on which an individualized training plan is set in the gym.

The test includes:

  • force-velocity profile – the ratio between force and velocity in strength and strength-dynamic exercises

  • average and maximum achieved value of speed, force and dynamic force at various loads

  • prediction of the maximum manageable weight per repetition in strength exercises without the need to expose the athlete to real maximum load

  • load with maximum dynamic force projection, height and video analysis of the jump

Duration: approx. 1.5 hours.

Price: 3,000 CZK

Power - Strength and speed abilities

strength ability test

The goal of strength training should be its effective transfer to a specific sports discipline and athlete's regimen. It should lead to both improved performance and reduced risk of injury. We use training methods that adhere to the basic pillars of biomechanics and physiology and are supported by scientific research. When compiling training, we pay attention to individualization and achieving the greatest possible strength potential of the athlete according to his specific health and performance needs.

Duration: approx. 1 hour.

Price: 1,200,-

Strength training

foot and ankle test

A program for athletes, runners or triathletes, with the aim of strengthening the sole of the foot, which is the supporting structure of the body and a crucial link in the movement chain. Foot training will strengthen proper posture and reduce the risk of muscle injuries.

The test includes:

  • assessment of structural muscle balance of the foot

  • assessment of the strength capabilities of the foot

  • movement coordination

  • basic foot strength program

The test is followed by individual training according to the examination results.

Duration: approx. 1 hour.

Price: 2,000 CZK
